12883. Evans Pottery – Dexter, Missouri Mission Swirl Vase after 1928. Unsigned. The Evans Brothers, Randall & Arthur, had been in business in Missouri making pottery since the 1880s. The brothers traveled to Benton, AR in 1928 to visit Niloak and soon began making their own variation of Mission Swirl Pottery. Evans pieces were never signed but are often coated in a clear gloss.
