Ogden Wood lived and worked in New York early in his career, he moved to Paris ca. 1881 and is thought to have stayed there until his death in 1912. During his life he exhibited at the Brooklyn Art Association and at the Paris Salon, among other places. His works are held by various museums in the United States, including the Brooklyn Art Museum.
