Michael Adams - Aurora Studios Hammered Copper "Experimental #2" Warty Vase 1994

Michael Adams - Aurora Studios Hammered Copper "Experimental #2" Warty Vase 1994. Signed. Estate of Roger Moss, Berkeley, CA. Acquired directly from Michael Adams during a visit to his Oswego, NY workshop in 1994. This piece documents a unique interaction between a legendary collector and a modern master. While visiting the Oswego studio in 1994, preeminent Dirk van Erp historian Roger Moss discovered Michael Adams creating a limited series of experimental warty lamps. Moss persuaded Adams to halt production and sell the heavy copper shells raw, leaving them un-assembled as pure sculptural statements. 5.25"h x 6.5"d
