Dirk van Erp - D'Arcy Gaw hammered copper fruit bowl with rolled rim and rare seamed bottom c1910.   So why did Dirk spend so much extra time and effort to execute a bottom like this?  This was his subtle way of showing that he could do things the hard way... his way of over-engineering a fruit bowl.  Excellent original patina.  Signed with D'Arcy Gaw mark.  9.5"d x 3.75"h SOLD
