200. Taxile Doat at University City, MO framed tile of Alpine Village Scene c1914. William Bragdon worked with Taxile Doat at University City in 1914 and assisted with the glazing. The following year, Bragdon was working with Chauncey Thomas in Berkeley at California Faience. These glaze samples are from the William Bragdon Estate and match the tile, courtesy of Kirby Brown, grandson of William Bragdon. Signed. Perfect condition.
