17464. Early Van Briggle Matte Green Lorelai Vase 1904. The bronze base was made by one of three Japanese Craftsmen hired by Van Briggle, Yosakichi Asano, R. Ito or S. Riosetts Fujiura. This piece was most likely made for the 1904 St Louis Exposition. This is one of the best Van Briggle Lorelai Vases to come to the market in years. Provenance: Sotheby’s, New York, 1 December 1990.
